Bunting Babes Completed Projects:
Bunting for the Diamond Jubilee - 12 miles of bunting was made and displayed around the village for the Queens Jubilee.
Knitted poppies were produced to commemorate the start of the First World War, we produced hundreds of poppies which we displayed in the Church and also gave to the British Legion to sell on their stalls around the Bourne area. The poppy wreaths are on display in the Church every Remembrance Sunday.
Defibrillator - the Babes raised enough money with the help from the Beer Feast and a grant from the British Heart Foundation to buy a defibrillator for the Village Hall. They also organised training for numerous groups around the village.
Bunting was produced to decorate the street for the Queens 90 Birthday street party, also decorating all the tables with flowers.
Each year we do the catering for a tea party to say thank you to Hospital Drivers around the area.
We are always looking for new ways of raising money for all good causes in the village if you have any ideas please come along or contact us via the website.
